Our Story

Established in 2004 by Kevan Atkinson and Terry White, with over 50 years of experience between them in the food processing industry, Global Food Technology has since gone on to build one of the largest portfolios of food processing solutions in the business.

Key to this success has been our philosophy of partnership with both our customers and suppliers. This approach has enabled us to join forces with some of the world's leading brands of food processing machinery to provide innovative solutions for a wide range of applications.

Today we supply over 80 products across 24 categories, serving customers including McCain, Dawn Farms, Devro, Dovecote Park and many more across the UK and Ireland.

Our expertise spans the full spectrum of food processing. We supply equipment for grinding, thawing and tempering, freezing, marination and brining, fish skinning and descaling, cooking and smoking, and packaging.

Our range of defrosting and thawing solutions is one of the widest in the food industry. We offer Stalam COLDWAVE radio frequency thawing for rapid defrosting in minutes, Kometos controlled forced air thawing rooms for 3 to 48 pallets, and Peruza water thawing lines for continuous fish defrosting — so whatever you are trying to defrost, we can offer the best solution.

We cater for all sizes of businesses and can supply machinery from compact benchtop units for small businesses to complete turnkey process lines for large food processing plants.
